Spent time being homeless, a druggy and a bum, moved into a halfway house for homeless teens, and saw a lot of stuff ppl shouldn't see - kids cutting to the bone, suicide, insane drug-abuse, all the fun stuff...
It all made me start to wonder why the world was so crap, so, I started reading, questioning, and thinking. I read Chomsky, Marx, Horowitz, [other political texts]; Nietzsche, Hume, Kant, Sartre, Camus and s***loads of other philosophers. Hawking, Davies, Dawkins and other science writers, the bible, Quran, Avesta, Dhammapada, the Tao, other religious texts, Vygotsky, Rousseau and Piaget and other educational psych, social psych, sociology, anthropology texts etc etc etc., and realised no-one had a clue... (Including me, I got no idea 'bout nothin either)
Anyway, I got off drugs, extracted the digit, went to uni, got a degree and job (teacher). I play drums, bass, guitar, am a singer/songwriter (punk-metal, so few ppl like it
)...
I am a cynic, and see the world differently to most people...
