What do you do to get out of a blah or even a bad mood? I wish I knew. Right now I'm finding myself in a major funk. I know part of the reasons for it but I don't know how to get out of it.

First of all my boyfriend and I have a long distance relationship and because of several factors we've barely talked in over a week. And the last time I talked to him was Wednesday morning. I wish I could blame him for it but there are legitimate things that have kept him from it. Mainly work. He's had people jumping on him at work because he speaks his mind about what he thinks. Another thing is the last time I talked to him he was sick.

Another thing that has gotten me down is I take care of my mother full time and she's been a real handful the last few days. Seems like she is doing everything she can to bug the crap out of me. I am so fed up right now. The rest of my family will come if it is important and they are called but for the day to day stuff they just don't get it.

Also, we've had some issues with the person over the housing where we live. It got to the point to where she was really overbearing and without going into specifics one thing led to another and if certain things weren't done by a week ago yesterday she was going to start eviction. Lets just say my mom and her mouth played a part in that too.

And lastly. I've been sick for about 2 weeks. I'm feeling better but still don't feel great. I know that this is probly the main cause for my mood. It's one thing to know it but another to accept it.

So, I'm stressed and feel like crap and it is causing me to completely over react to situations. I know I am over reacting but I just can't help myself for some reason.

I don't know why I am writing this. Maybe I am hoping that writing about it will help. During the day when there is a lot of activity around the house I can put it on the back burner and just be in the moment but when it gets to be night time, it seems those feelings just hit me even harder.

Is it just me or has it gotten to where it seems there are fewer and fewer people online chatting over the last few months?

Everywhere I go to post it used to be you could hardly get a word in because there were so many people posting. If you walked away for a few minutes you missed 3 to 4 pages of posts. Now you can make a post and leave and go back hours later and there might be 3 or 4 posts after yours. And that is on a really good day. Most of the time there's none.

If it isn't just me, what do you think the problem (difference) is?

I've thought it could be related to the economy. You know, people doing more work and less time for socializing. Or maybe they are afraid of doing something to get fired. Or it could be people are cutting back on the internet, but I don't see how that could be it considering we are using the internet for more and more things.

What's your thoughts on the subject?
