Okay, so my friend was short of a player last night for his 5 a side team. So i think, sure why not, ive got nothing better to do, its been a while since ive played some football!
Well. . . what a mistake
First of all i get there and suddenly my mate tells me im in goal . Now this isnt a problem as i am a natural goalkeeper anyway but he couldve told me, as i didnt bring any gloves or anything with me i was rather peed off about that for starters!!
Then, halfway through the first half, even tho in these rules you cant enter or exit any area, i go down for a save and this player runs in the area, mistaking my head for the football
Yes. This hurt! and it hurt alot. i was out of it for a few minutes, then when i was back 'with it' i couldnt actually feel any part of my jaw for at least ten minutes i was so worried. However i continued. cos im hard
Eventually my feeling came back in my jaw but all of today i have got major pains through my chin right up to behind my ear and i have a raging headache which ihave taken some proper strong tablets for but it wont go away
GOD I WISH IT WOULD GO AWAY!!!! | |

Ogler 27896 points | hiya, people seem tothink that playing in goal is easy but its not, my dad used to run football teams and had to be the goalie for a while, the ball hit his hand and you could here the crack of his wrist from the half way line, when he went to hospital he had broke his wrist it just shows how hard them balls are when they hit you,im not surprised your in pain. |
