God being a woman is just too much of a pain in the a** sometimes!!!
I'm off on hols the day after tomorrow and there is like a list as long as my arm of stuff i have to do!!!!
Mow the lawn, clean the house, pack properly, make sure cats have enough food, still gotta go to work!!! And i got my self so mithered about it the other night i was up at 3 am cleaning the cupboards out!!!!
And what does my dear husband say???

Well its in the dog (or rather the cat) cos i don't have the time, (nor the fifteen pairs of hands) required to do absolutely everything!!!!

Having a mull today about how s**t people who call themselves friends are sometimes!!
i have what i thought was a close friendship with someone, i'm always there when she needs me and do what many people find so bloody difficult, i tell her the truth.
Her dad was sick recently and being a nurse she called me and we were up half the night sorting him out with insulin and what not.
So i'm great when she needs me but don't warrant an invite to her hen night or wedding.

Am very miserable to be awake at this ridicuous hour but i've got an qwful cold thats making me very sorry for myself. I've lost my voice, feel like i have concrete installed up my nose and for the love of god i wish my body would make up its mind it's hot or bloody cold!! Blub blub!  | |

There is a fabulous pair of white wedges on ebay that i really want to buy for my hols but dear hubby complains regularly that i already have too many shoes!!
If you lot tell me to buy them then i'll have good grounds to argue with him and buy them!!!

Am quite flattered really!!
At work today one of the surgical consultants came to speak to me about a patient that we were losing.
After giving him the key points of my assessment he went over to the anaesthetist and told him that his registrar (meaning me!) Had suggested the following course of treatment and he agreed so could he please prescribe the relevant meds!!
Me!! A lowly nurse mistaken for a Registrar!!
Am a bit flattered really!! Maybe that means i don't talk s**t all the time afterall!!!  | |

After the initial shock of having to take charge this afternoon, it has to be said i am in a much better mood today and have had a most enjoyable day at work!!
