After sleeping in my cozy new bed last night!

So, Rob and I went out shopping last night with the kids. Bought a few things.
We planned a big surprise for the kids last night, to take them out sledding. There was never any really good sledding hills in Welland, so we've never taken them sledding before. We gave them the choice. We could take them once tubing at Chicopee or we could take them a bunch of time sledding on snow hills. They chose sledding so we went shopping and got them new sleds. We are only going over to the school, but the school has such a huge hill! It's going to be so much fun!!!!!!!!
We also decided to fix our bed. It's in terrible shape and we haven't been sleeping well. We wanted to buy a memory foam mattress cover, but they only had them in Twin and King. We have Queen. So we bought a good quilted one, and it's pretty thick, so it's really comfy. It seems almost comparable to a pillowtop. We also bought a fleece sheet set, with pillow cases, we got new pillows, I got duck filled, and we got a new DUVET comforter. Everything is WHITE. I told Rob "You even THINK of eating in bed with this stuff on it, and I will kick your a$$." He didn't eat in bed last night. We'll see how long it lasts. I do predict kicking his a** once or twice though. I'm tellin ya though, I did NOT want to get out of that bed this morning. When my kids came in and got me up, I tried to con them to lay with us and watch tv and let us enjoy it just a little bit longer, but they wanted to go eat breakfast, so I had to drag my a** outta there. I didn't want to. It was so nice. I'm telling ya, you want comfy, get duck pillows, fleece sheets, a duvet comforter, and a good thick mattress cover. We spent about $180 on these pieces. Worth every penny!

Hey man...get a duvet cover for your duvet. I have a white one as well and between drinks and the god damn dog it got so f**kin dirty...and you cant wash it in your washer it has to be dry cleaned so to save yourself the expense of drycleaning it everytime you have to do bedding, get a cover and wash that.....smartest "investment" I ever made for my WHITE duvet cover....congrats on the "new" bed to....new beds rock! We're getting a queen size when we move which means a new duvet for me as well Woooot!
