So anyways I had her appointment at the hospital yesterday, they checked that her eye was moving correctly. It is, thankfully. They then said that she is blind in 1 eye and always will be. They only did the operation for cosmetic reasons, if thats so then why did the consultant tell me he was hoping to restore 80% of her sight with the op.

I have to take her back in 2 months to check that the eye hasn't wondered and is still moving correctly. Then she will need check ups every 6 mths. They have said that her eye will eventually start to wonder again but it may not be for another 30 years, but they cant say for sure when it'll happen.
