so a telling sign that i equate my life too much with computer games is that after every couple of visits to the gym i feel like i've 'leveled up'
today i added +10 to swimming

i've been teaching myself for the last 3 weeks or so, i was never able.
now i'm actually pretty good.
so hurray to me for not drowning.

Just because we use cheats it doesn't mean we're not smart.

yeah
before a few weeks ago the last time i was in a pool was when i was about 6, and i had armbands on ....and wouldn't let go of the sides

i had something, well 'have' something called dyspraxia, its a motor function screw up, like dyslexia of the body
it made it really hard to learn any physical stuff as a kid, even riding a bike.
so i'm on a bit of a kick right now about anything physical because i'm suddenly able to do all these things i thought i wasn't able to do and really effected my confidence growing up.

i thought myself really quickly, swimmings so easy its unbelievable.
so theres an unusual insight into my life everyone lol

I think that's fantstic! So do you know longer have this disorder or you have learned how to compensate for it? Either way, very cool to have more of the world open to you.

thanks
well i still have it,
its just not as big a deal as you get older i'm used to it,
its more now that i know about it i'm in a way better frame of mind to work around it.
like i'm learning to drive now too which i was always nervous about,
in real terms all it really means is that it takes me longer for movements to come naturally.
so i give myself some slack when i'm struggling with something,
its more trouble practically with a kid because you get to thinking you're rubbish at everything
it makes it tougher that it comes with speech problems too, i stammered as a teen!
