so a telling sign that i equate my life too much with computer games is that after every couple of visits to the gym i feel like i've 'leveled up'
today i added +10 to swimming 
i've been teaching myself for the last 3 weeks or so, i was never able.
now i'm actually pretty good. 
so hurray to me for not drowning.

hmm, i never do enough of this journal thingy, i think i'm missing out on the whole anne frank jive.
i'm having a quite day today, its saturday and 2 o'clock and last night i didn't even go out and get drunk or anything. so i'm feeling good, listening to some music and finally getting some work done with my art.
inspite of me having money and above all girl troubles i'm feeling pretty good, (word to the wise, don't try tell a girl how you feel about her after taking MDMA...actually do, its hilarious)
i just re-read franny & zooey, by J.D Salinger, of catcher in the rye fame. beautiful book, really made me think alot about my life and religion and family and love.its fascinating how much influence this man has had on so many people with just his few short books. he's really something special.
i'm onto reading Enders Game by orson scott card, the basis of so much of sci-fi is right here in this book. its like when i read issac asimov for the first time and it just makes you realise that crist, everyone steals their ideas from somewhere, and there's only a few people that actually make wild leaps forward in creativity, but hell i guess everything has to evolve.
well i should go get some lunch before i get to wrapped up in drawing and forget and all of a sudden i'll be in a nighclub tonight in pieces drunk cause i havn't eaten anything.
there's some insight into the life of Alexkidd anyway.
