-I'm going with my arms...usually i start there

-In my closet, my faves my grey one

-Sure, why not

-Um, not really, i mean when it's cold out i can picture a couple of warm outfits in my closet that i'd prefer wearing out but that's about the extent of my "planning"

-I have a cold, so kind of s***ty, and being at work doesn't help either.

-My Zulu (GMT clock) clock, the numbers are in Zulu time, also includes Central and Easter time zones

Tully's has a venerable tradition of artisan roasting, which means our Master Roasters bring all five senses of the artist to the roasting process. our intimate, hands-on approach allows us to focus on the sights, smells, and sounds that indicate we've captured just the right flavors at just the right moment.
We're also careful to take our time. Tully's distinctive coffees are created slowly, over a slightly lower temperature than other West Coast roasters use.
We pull out the Piquant notes of the coffee. -say A.J. Rendon, Tully's Roast Master. We get more of the citrus and more of the floral when we roast at a lower flame.
A.J. says coffee roasting can be compared to the art and craft of roasting marshmallows over an open fire. One approach is to ignite the marshmallow, creating a small ball of flame. The Tully's approach is similar to holding the marshmallow over a low ember until it's evenly browned and caramelized throughout.
When Tully's coffee beans are treated with this kind of patience, the result is even development and smooth, harmonious flavors in the cup. It takes a little longer, and requires an artist's touch, but the difference is revealed in every cup. |
