If you remember Tim, I got this E mail regarding the rest of the dirty third:

"the boys of the Dirty 3rd return home tomorrow after 14 months in Iraq. Obviously, one very special component of that team will not be with them, but still I am happy this deployment is over for them. Please join me in praying for their safe trip home, as well as an easy transition back to life in the States, and peace of mind, as I know many of them have probably developed some serious PTSD. Praying"

Tim gave his life so the rest could come home, may he rest in peace.

When I think of the brave soldiers, I can't put into words the privilege I feel to know them. When a person is in the service, everyone in their life goes along for the emotional ride. Just reading something from home is a stomach flip which only someone who's been through it can feel. May that letter give you a litle bit of comfort, soldiers are heroes, people wouldn't have the right to say ignorant things without them holding the fort. If this sounds hokey, it's only said with heartfelt sincerity. The honesty and power in your sense of humor is much easier to enjoy even more than I already do.
God bless.
