if you have facts to support the truth. even with facts, doesn't it is true. just means the facts about the truth.

facts can support the truth, actually prove is stronger the heresay rumors or stories of the truth.

non-facts truth like rumors and gossips that are not necessary truth or true, without proven these tales are just stories that someone make them up in their heads.

unproven truths can hurt people, if told without enough evidence to back them up.

unproven truths are more or less, stories from fairy tales.

Theorem -
.. I'll cheat and use a dictionary definition: a general proposition not self-evident but proved by a chain of reasoning; a truth established by means of accepted truths.

The bold is along the lines of what I was thinking.

A pair of straight lines either intersect once, or not at all. "Never more than once"

.. of course I haven't proven this with every possible pair of straight lines, but through a set of accepted truths, you can accept that as truth.
