having a pretty shit birthday

its raining and cold.
i cut my finger badly when i was chopping veges.
my brother forgot my birthday.
im home alone.
mum has made me do all the house work as im having a party tonight and shes out today having lunch with a friend.
my parents pretty much have forgotten my b'day and all i got from mum quickly this morning was "have a good birthday".
my boyfriend was going to take me out for lunch, but now he cant because of 'some reasons'.
i mean, i guess its just any other day. but i feel sad. and i dont know why, and i dont want to

i feel selfish for feeling sad about it all.

	i would love to leave. but im not. i have three huge assignments due this friday. and exams next week that i havent even started studying for cos the assignments are so hard i should be at school right now, but ive take the day off to work on my stoof. geez school feels like prison. its becoming my life. and i dont want it to.
