why did germany lose during world war 2

I can think of several big mistakes that he made, but I'll concentrate on just two.

1/ He tried to fight the war on two fronts. He should have allowed his treaty with Russia to continue until after he defeated britain so he could bring all his forces to bear, instead of splitting them in half.

2/ Towards the end of the war, he got too arrogant and ceased listening to the advice of his generals.

It was a case of serious flaws in their planning that over extended their abilities. Their treatment of German people at the hands of the "elite" in the Nazi party also lost them many vital resources. Right thinking people became dissolusioned by the crazy extremes of the Nazis.

no. those people still helped the nazis cos of a feelgood factor and genral support. the facts are:
-hitler took personal control of the army so often & he had no idea how to run a war
-internal strife in the admin system didn't help
-blitzkrieg tactics wouldn't work on the defence
-vital succsesses were not followed up

Blitzkreig tactics worked offensively but defensively the germans weren't the force they once were.

Hitler decided to attack Russia, and with the invasion of sicily and eventually the defeat of facist italy, and the D day landings, effectively Hitler had a war on 3 fronts.

also later on hitler did not listen to his generals and interfered where he really should not have.

Also a mention of the psychological factors, a war on three fronts and the force of the allies must have been worrying!
