Wear what you find comfortable and appealing. Don't worry about how you "should" or "should not" dress.

Damn right I'm good in bed, I can sleep for hours!

You love it. You know you do.

who cares what a "emo" "gothic" "prep" blah blah blah should wear..wear what you like..being called a certain thing because of the way you dress or following other people is kinda lame!

I'd just like to know what the most stereotypical thing would be.

I need to make a stereotypical emo character for a project and that's why, if it was just something the wearer is comfortable with, then it wouldn't work.

many layers wouldn't probably work. I mean, it's already snowing around here. and that would probably clash with the anorexic look.

would an outworn black leather jacket be emo?

Idk what it is exactly for but there is this fad with Emo bands and a lot their fans like to dress like them. I really like the look. Its a lot cleaner than the gothic/punk look and its very creative. I love the hairstyles and stuff but I couldnt pull it off

I personally think you should wear what you think is comfortable and that you like.. dont follow the scene.. but if you must know.. lots of emo kids i know wear coats.. usually a green or brown, or camo.. with the fur around the hood..
