I suppose that would explain why all my good friends are guys.
A friend of mine once theorized that women are more competitive than their male counterparts, even though they
may appear docile and demure. The society in general have perhaps made this trait more pronounced in a lot of women because as the 'weaker' and 'fairer' sex, women have had to work doubly hard to actually prove their worth and to be taken seriously... even to the certain extent of 'going above and beyond'.
I feel that there is a measure of truth in this, and the claw sharpening and back stabbing ways that many women are guilty of may have started of as a means of survival in this (once) male dominated world... it has since become almost
de riguer for women to behave in that manner -
and get away with it. People would simply dismiss it as "Ah... that's natural, she's a woman, if she ain't b****y, then she's a doormat."
