I can't believe I haven't seen anyone post up Tarja Turunen as their favorite female lead singer. Frankly, she's one of the best singers I have ever heard and her band is just great. Some of one might like the band and some of you might just hate it because of the style but one must admit that she has incredible talent and can sing her heart away!

i dont know if many people listen to Corinne Bailey Rae.....but i absolutely love her.....I used to work at Starbucks back in Bama (lol) and I've loved her music ever since....

Amy Winehouse is also another female favorite....

As far as males go I love Musiq Soulchild and I've been listening to a lot of James Morrison lately....
