this always puzzles me i normally wai about 3 miuits then get fed up and close it but then when 9i launch it it take 10x longer to start up any better ways of going about this

Leave it and go make a cuppa, if it is still f**ked up when you return, end it by force, if it stays like it for ages and you really need to use the program, restart the compy

By the way the original question was for the best way not the quickest, so my answer is the best way i know, the quickest will prolly be pulling the power and rebooting (prolly shouldnt do that though )

Hit your pc thats what i do and its never failed.
