oh... i only ever saw parts of those movies... prolly why i couldnt connect it...

and i agree that the planet could conceivabley outlive humanity, or at least our kind of existance that we have now... but it will die someday... that is, it wont always be able to harbor life forms... and i think we have definately done our part to speed the process along...
