Yeah NOD 32 is good and AVG anti-virus. Use it together, so your computer will be fully-protected.

NORTON DOES NOT WORK! And I can prove that. And Have proven it many many times. AVG or Avast are good, anf they are free.

norton or mcaffee recommended but also have avg free edition and spyware doc or search and destroy as well

mcaffee - good
avg free - for a second antivirus (its good 2 have 2 installed)
search and destroy - also installed
spyware doctor - also installed (need to pay for this 1)

trend micro works well for me with vista, gotta pay yearly & can load to 3 separate computers, it lets me know if anyone is trying to access router (and lets me know when the kids are online )

Ok one NEVER EVER have more then one virus scanner they will fight laging your computer and creating holes for stuff to get in DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT DO THAT. AVG is good for a free one Avast gets annoying at times and does not repair only deletes. Mcafee is better then nortan. From my experience Nortan has blocked people from the internet created non-existant viruses and all around is not the greatest. I work as a computer tech and I am a software engineer I have dealt with loads of virus scanners. Spybot search and destroy is good for getting ride of unwanted spyware it is a scanner only does not do real time like most virus scanners but thats cause it is not a virus scanner. Adaware 2007 is worse then se but they stoped updating it so it is also good for a second spyware scanner you can have 2 spyware scanners cause they only run when you run them.

Oh if you have a mac or linux OS you should not need a virus scanner cause they don't really get viruses
