It's just like Vista Home Premium, minus the Media Center, games, Movie Maker, and DVD maker (and plus remote desktop).

Or Vista Ultimate minus the above things.

Or Vista Home Basic plus Aero, Slideshow, Meeting Space, and Remote Desktop.

Kinda. You can't really download Media Center or Remote Desktop, but you can download something somewhat similar if you really need to.

You won't miss them. Vista Business will be fine.

Yup. Vista Business comes with Aero, the fancy Vista glass-like user interface.

i'm quite happy with vista
i started using it maybe a month ago with my new computer, what are these negative issues that i'm supposed to be experiencing?

You missed out on them by getting vista after the hardware manufacturers and software vendors caught up.

Unfortunately, even though the third parties (like nVidia and Adobe) have pretty much fixed all of the "Vista problems" that they caused with bad software and bad drivers, the "Vista sucks a** and is unstable!" perception is harder to get rid of.

yeah i was worried about that, but my adobe suite works better than ever, mostly because i'm not on a laptop anymore but i've had no vista related issues, i assumed the 'vista sucks' ethos was mostly based on issues that were already fixed.

get over it people, we're back on track.
