I went to the river cottage in axminister a few weeks back its tiny!! and axminsister is a tiny place.

I grow carrots, potatoes, tomatoes, peas, broad beans, herbs (all sorts).. loads of stuff.. It was the first thing i did when i moved into a house with a garden.


I taste nice.

A chicken was £23.50 and a free range duck was best part of £35. but i must have tasted the best pork pie in the world there..

Me too. I spent all summer last year taking care of our garden.....everyday, twice a day watering, weeding, fertilizing...and at the end of it all I end up with three ears of corn, two carrots and three tomatoes.

It quite funny how gardening and living of the land is quite accepted now in the younger generation, you normally imagine old people doing it....its quite soothing and i wish i'd started years ago now.


If it's white, sticky and not yours dont touch it.

Im also growing stargazer lillies, kinda driving the other half nuts with them at the min cos we're gonna have a whole garden full of them and french lavender...and our gardens not small lol
