So whats in your vegi patch at the moment . And what are you picking.
I just went and picked a big hand full of strawberrys mind you they didn,t make it in side.lol. some cherry tomatoes gerkins and a 1/2 dozen squash

I don't have a vegi patch but my dad has a greenhouse and usually grows tomato's and cucumbers. They also have some raspberry bushes and he is going to try and grow grapes this year. I used to love getting fresh carrots from the ground, washing them and then eating them raw

I dont mind cooked carrots, but atm I have a HUGE craving for raw ones

I go through a bag a week atm. That and crunchy nut cornflakes

I normally grow lettuces, chives, toms and corriander.
Not really brave enough to grow anything else cos i feel awful when i kill plants.


If it's white, sticky and not yours dont touch it.

I cant keep plants. They die, even if I do look after them properly.

I just planted tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, broccoli, and a bunch of flowers. Next comes zuccini, squash, and more flowers.

what I did last year and it worked unbeilavably!


--two large plastic containers, not ceramic, with holes and I planted my hot house tomatoe plants, bought 4 plants, got over 200 tomatoes, they were in full sun and watered 2X a day from the heat......but my god, so many!

Tried growing herbs in pots as didnt want to take over garden (rented) but they just got water logged!? Basil was the strongest though.

I bought some cucumber seeds and im gonna have ago at growing them now...apparently the council here is allowing some land to be turned into allotments and my mum wants to have ago at growing some fresh veg to...might help her im well into this fresh fruit/ veg malarky now
