108/F/, Canada Join Date: Jan 2008 | Take it from somebody close to your era. I had mine done professionally and this is what they recommended.
1. Employers don't like to see a long list of employment history.( It shows that you can't stay in one place for any given length of time).
2.I would combine "Job 1" with present. (Job 1 2006 to present-contract work references available on request.
3. I would stop at your "Job 3" and finish it there.
-All three combined have over 20 years stable work history.
-Note: No reference to your age was made, but there is 20 yrs of work history let them do the math.
-Always offer " References available on request"
Last but not least try something like this: "I look forward to discussing this further with you in a personal interview at your most convenient time."
NO MORE THAN 2 PAGES!!
