Anyone have any tips for dying your own hair? Like how not to dye your head instead?

I think it's inevitable, but it fades after a few days. if you want to avoid dying the skin around your hair, like your forehead or neck, the you can very carefully put a layer of vasaline or conditioner in the places you don't want dye to touch. Just be careful not to get any on your hair or your hair will hair have areas that aren't dyed too.

They have this wax stuff made just for that, so you don't get the dye on your skin. That's about all I know about dying hair

well i got some vaseline so i'll just use that i guess.

i'm probably gonna end up looking like a freak oh well. it'll be an adventure anyway.

Maybe you should try a non-permanent dye first, just to see how it will turn out. Then it won't matter as much if it messes up.

well i have a black and a red. the red isn't permanent and the black is... i think with the red one though you're supposed to bleach first and i don't have any bleach.. soo.

a friend of mine used black dye to draw designs in his hair. It didn't work as well as he wanted, but it as still neat looking.
But I think all black would be better.
I liked having black hair, it was fun. For some reason, I got a lot more people hitting on me after that.
