an animal should be killed before skinning, fur traders worldwide shouldn't be able to trade unless they have some kind of humane regulations IMO.

Whats so wrong with fur? We raise animals to eat, whats wrong with raising animals to wear? Admitedly that picture was f**ked up, but that cant be how it is most of the time.

The fur I could not wear is the fur of animals that we do not eat. The poor baby seals and other animals that are just skinned.

What's wrong with fur? - from an animal rights point of view, wearing the skin of someone else is a right violation. But you are right, so is raising nonhuman animals so we can eat their body parts or steal their children's milk for ourselves.

That really is pretty funny.

As if we're depriving all these calves of much needed milk, and hoarding it for ourselves.

We've been doing it forever. I mean we earned that right once we began to outsmart animals, there was a time when we were game to, we still are sometimes.

Of course it is. Wrapping ourselves in someone else's skin is a rights violation from an animal rights pov.

But you would not advocate that 'smart' humans can exploit less smart ones as some sort of right - or would you?
