My task manager is disabled. it was disabled by a virus. i went and did all the steps that were required for regedit and gpedit.msc but that still did not work. i set taskmanager to not configured and i deleted the disabletaskmanager script but once i go back the disabletaskmanger script thing is back.....what do i do? how do i get of the virus and be able to view task manager?

try a system restore date prior to when you disabled the task manager. Then run "MRT"

If your system is windows xp use the "Run" application in your system tools ... if you have Vista simply type in MRT in the search window that appears when you click on the start marble at the lower left of your desk top
