i am in the new residents association where i live and we are trying to get all sorts of activities going both for the young and old ,so at one of the meetings i said if we started a class for both sugarcraft and cake decorating i would do it ,but i must admit at first two days before the class i did not sleep as i was so nervous ,thinking would i pull it off ,on the night my mouth was so dry i could hardly speak but as the night progressed i calmed down and everything went realy well .now that i know everyone im fine and we have had two other people join. we have 12 ladies and one man who is a chef. we have made now roses carnations sweet peas filler flowers and next week daisies .i went to colleage and passed my centra 138 it was over 18 months and we had to do a portfollio and the health and safety part too ,but im now retired and do wedding cakes and celebration cakes.for three years i sold my flowers on ebay and they went all over the world
Just today I saw an item on the local TV news about something they call edible clay. It comes in different colors in cubes. You mold it into any shapes or flowers you want and decorate cakes with it. Of course, It's not really clay but can be molded like clay. I don't know any other details. I think it's a new thing here. | | |
