any home remedies for a sty?

More of an old wives tale, but last time I had one on holiday my aunt rubbed a gold ring under it. May have been coincidence but by the next day it felt much better

Yup rub it with a gold ring.The old wives tale states wedding ring but way back when it was the only gold most people owned.

heat, i get them and a warm to hot towel or anything else thats at hand keep applying it draws it out, works for me

Okay... gonna sound odd, but a cold used tea bag (no perverted remarks please ) put over the eye really helps!

Wet hot compresses.
Works everytime.
