I know that you all have heard them, or some of you may have even formed them. I would like to know, in all realness, what are some of the sterotypes that you have heared concerning blacks, i.e. all black people eat fried chicken, blacks are lazy. As you can tell by looking at my picture, I am black, but don't hold back anything I promise I won't get offended, but I will speak my mind on the particular comment that you make. Have fun!

If you have not experienced it yet, let me be the first to let you know that that is not true. Don't get me wrong, when they are big, they are big, but not all of my beautiful black brothers are well endowed.

Not really any about blacks to be honest, some other races and groups though.

Um, i heard Jews tend to victemize themselves, like milk a siutation for all it's worth. I heard alot of people saying that, even Jews in fact...um thats about all i heard. Oh, i spoke to a black guy once who reckoned all white people are racist.

I've heard the stereotypes you've mentioned, sure, but I feel like most stereotypes, they are just that. They don't apply to everyone, and therefore I don't really pay attention to them

Damn right I'm good in bed, I can sleep for hours!

You love it. You know you do.

I haven't really heard any, or if I have none have stuck in my mind. But then I've never lived around a huge black population. *shrugs* I'm no help.

......some black brothers are gonna be pissed youre giving away their secret (not all of them are huge)

LOL

I actually have never heard one. When I was 12 I was friends with a black girl (the only one) at my school. I had grown up in Montana so hadnt been friends with anyone African American but I was with Native Americans, Hispanic etc. Well I never really realized it till I grew up and my dad talked to me about how much it meant to her family that we were sooo close. I never even thought about it.

I do also have people ask me if Im mixed.....could you help me figure out a good way to ask "why do you want to know?" It baffles me sometimes.

You know, this may seem odd to some, but I really don't like the term African-American. I was born in America, and I have been here all of my life. Never have I been to Africa, nor do I plan to go there any time soon! I tell people all the time (especially whites) call me black, it's not offensive.

i actualy started a thread on that, im not sure where it is, but i considered it stupid. like white americans arent known as "european americans" so how come blacks in america are "african americans"?

I really don't have a nice way for you to put that, because I tend to be a very blunt person. But if I was in the situation I would first ask them does it matter. Their answer, yes: Why does it matter?
no: Well why the f**k did
you ask me, you just
wasted my time and
yours!
If that helps at all. Sometimes you just have to get real "ghetto" with people, black, white and any other, just to get them to mind there own business.

It's stupid f**ks like you that make this world a hard place to live in while continuing to be, in my case, a well educated, intelligent, easy going, young black female like myself. I usually don't wish anything bad on anyone, but I hope you burn in hell you worthless piece of s**t!! That is, if these are your feelings, if not, disregard everything I just wrote.

My son is mixed and people always laugh and laugh when they hear his favorite food is watermelon. They start in with, "Does he like fried chicken and orange soda, too?"

So besides the things mentioned; I hear blacks like ribs and turkey necks and collared greens and shlitz malt liquor. I hear that they are more likely to be criminals and poor and uneducated.

I don't think it's a huge issue here because we have almost no black people. I think I've met maybe 6 fully black people here ever. There are a fair number of mixed people and a ton of hispanics and polynesians, but very few blacks so most people save their racism for the more prevalent groups.
