Most clinics will not perform an abortion past 8 weeks. Some will go up to 10-12 weeks. It takes a very special circumstance for later term pregnancies to be terminated FOR THE MOST PART. There are still exceptions to that, however tragic.

Most clinics thoroughly examine the woman pre-procedure to ensure the age of the fetus. And prenatal caregivers run a woman thru the gamut of tests to make sure that the woman can give live birth to a healthy child, and advise her of all her choices.

In my opinion no woman is obligated in this day and age to procreate, no matter the circumstances.

I myself would not have considered an abortion when I was having my children. I belive that at conception life begins. But, I am pro choice because if a woman is going to end the pregnancy it should be done in a clean medically supervised way,
It seems to be an oximoron to call a professional person that ends a pregnancy in abortion a doctor but thats my personal belief .

I find it rediculous when people say "the mother got an abortion". The person who got an abortion was not a mother, she was the carryer of cells, and thats it.

I was 8 weeks pregnant twice and i was and still am a MOTHER!!!! My children started off where those fetus' lives ended.

i had an abortion at 9 weeks...i was single with a 14 month old child. but that's no excuse. i will never forgive myself for crushing this little life. she had no say. she couldn't cry out. i hate abortion. there is no need for them. there is so much information and educating for birth control.


Love your kids
