63/F/stoke on trent staffs, United Join Date: Aug 2008 | im a member of our residents commity ,and ive just set up a class for beginers, young ,old male or female,in cake decorating ,it starts in march. i rang different places to hold the class, and was suprised how much differents there was in price per hour to rent .the first one was a chapel at £11 per hour the second was a community centre that is most expencive at £15 per hour ,and the best is a church which is £5 per hour, that i was very pleased with. although im qualified ,im feeling very nervous doing a display as im not used to doing this with an audience, ive just given out fliers to see what responce ill get ,all proceeds will go to fund raising, they have several rooms but ive not yet picked one as i dont yet know how many people will come .but on the fliers ive asked if people will ring me to set a place for them .can anyone out there give me any more advise that would help me to get it off the ground

If poeple call you and ask for a place, so you will know, how many space you need for your class. Or you can limiting the the number of poeple in your class.
