Romney is such a two-faced liar. As someone who loves to take credit for things he had no part in, you know he'd be the first person to pat himself on the back for taking out bin Laden if he was President. This guy is a real piece of work.

You have an interesting choice of words there Spinkiegirl. "Flees"? He ignored a troll, kept speaking, and left when he was done. If he confronted her, the story wouldn've been that a powerful politician tried to shut a woman up for daring to speak her mind. Like everything else in politics, he's damned if he does and damned if he doesn't. Still, I think he made the right choice, and really I think most politicians do just that too.

Mitt Romney is a racist!" she repeatedly screamed, drowning out Romney's comments and those made by Giuliani as well. "Racist! Racist!"

While Romney did not acknowledge the protester, the candidate walked away from the microphone after just five minutes and moved toward his waiting SUV.

As the protester continued to assail Romney—bellowing expletives at the GOP candidate, including "F*** you, Mitt Romney!"—

' Heckler ' ????
I agree with crazylikeafox totally .

Someone seems obsessed with racism.

Perhaps trying to hide her own racism.

How do you know he was done? I could swear that the article said that his speech was cut short.

He may have cut it short because of her. What could he say that would have satisfied this woman?
What would the headlines say if he had asked security to escorted her out? I can only imagine.

What Romney did was save his heckler from possible arrest. Had he stayed and kept talking, big mouth Sue would have kept up her yammering. Then, either Romney supporters would have silenced her or the cops would have. Romney should have kept talking.

I agree totally.

As for the woman, all she did was show herself to be totally classless in her behavior.

Maybe the lady screaming or someone who continually post stuff about racism....

Kind of "The lady doth protest too much, methinks." Shakespeare's Hamlet, Act III, ...syndrome.

You choose whether you think it applies.

Oh please, do I look like a woman who has to worry about someone being racist against me....... I got the best of both worlds!

He should have just finished all of his speech then leave. I wasn't suggesting that he comfort the loud disrespectful lady or even acknowledge her. I would have stood there, said what I had to say, thanked the crowd and left!

Perhaps the topic of racism is of interest to Spinkie, for whatever reason, but for me to think of Spinkie as a racist, that actually makes me laugh. I have known her for years and I can say a racist she is not. The accusation is so absurd, I do not know if I should be angry someone implies my friend is a racist or laugh at how farfetched that accusation is.

My friend, I am tanned so dark right now, many people are trying to figure out what race/ethnicity I am. The confused looks and questions I get makes me giggle. Fascinating the inquiry of my skin when it gets darker.
