I'm sick of the elitism of older punks, who are all like 'punk died after the 80's', there hasn't been a good new band since 1982' - well guess what - if you don't like it, go start a band that you think is punk.
Uh,,, it's us older punks that left enough copies of "Nevermind the Bullocks..." so you could steal it and play it at your parties. Elitism, ha ha ha ha. Well, the good news is, what you youngins call punk, is not our style, and we will have the pleasure of knowing on our death beads that we have seen all of the greats live, while they were in their primes ...So enjoy your Greenday cds and that nifty LaCuna Coil hoody ya just bought at the mall. I have to go change the DK sheets on my kids bed. Later (this was all meant in good punk rock humor, )
"We're all really smart kids, we're just stuck in a really stupid world." my pal Tauri on a drunkin evening back in 1988... | | |
