if all the god damn French teachers (that's the teachers that teach French not teachers from France) would speak English to us.

The first thing that I hear in my French room is "Bonjour mosour Jacob..." or something like that...

They speak French in order to get you used to hearing it. It really helps.

Basically all of my French lessons are taught completely in French.

That's a tried-and-true method for learning any language. It's called 'immersion technique' and you don't even need a teacher to make it work. If you attempt it without a teacher, it will require a large (filled) wallet, because you'll have to pick yourself up and move to the location of your own choosing, and live there, until you are able to converse with the locals. The only way to avoid this expense is to allow yourself to be moved by a military entity, ...but then, you won't get to choose the language you are going to learn!

i hav never taken a french class
but i hav taken a spanish cla** and when my teacher talked to us in spanish it really helped us out a lot

Oh yes. I worked in France for a week, speaking pretty much only French, and I learnt a hell of a lot.
