operaghost![]() Long Island, New York | #2 It just came out today didn't it? At least in the U.S. that is. I've read some reviews from screenings that seemed very mixed. A lot of them said your better off watching The Omega Man or The Last Man on Earth instead of it... I probably won't see it until another week or two.

trillian![]() derbyshire, United Kingdom | #5 i saw this today and i thought it was crap. but after saying that, when i was walking across the car park to get to my car at 2am in the dark, i did have a good look around. nothing like an overactive imagination.

excel![]() surrey, Canada | #6 Here is my critique. Call me over analytical, but there were some parts in the movie where I felt little to no sympathy for the main character's actions -or, inactions. In turn, this significantly reduced the quality of the scenes. Like when he was inching his a** to the car while the monstrously maladjusted vampire-like canines were waiting for the sun to set (which would have been more efficient if they just jumped over the centimeter thick strip of sunlight) to catch him. For savage dogs, they seemed more like pussies to me. And by "inching his ass", I mean he literally dragged his a** inch by inch to get to his car due to his self-inflicted injured leg. Yeah, he fell down on his own knife after being caught in a trap made by apparent idiotic savages with no sense of human intellect. We learn that they do strategically work together and communicate via unpleasant roaring while defeating the laws of physics by vastly opening their mouth and climbing vertically on walls. Ah, suspense down the drain for me. 'Twas only after he had to be rescued by his dog that he decided to get up and hop on his other fully injury-fee, mobile leg to head for the car, which he then crashed it before fully escaping. One other scene I specifically remember was in the end. He really shouldn't have ran into those poorly animated monsters, that looked like they were pulled out of a video game. And although the impact of the grenade was enough to destroy those monsters and break through every OTHER wall, the ONE wall behind the whole collision was perfectly intact enough for the couple behind to get away scott-free. Maybe.. just maaybe the guy should have hid behind there as well. So! The first hour was a bore. Then after he reached his peak of sanity everything seemed rushed. Not to mention the lack of consistency.. >_>. But that's just me..

tarandlace![]() Detroit, Michigan | #8 I think it's worth seeing in the theaters..it's suspenseful enough, there was a few parts that made me jump, and one that made me scream really loud..I was so embarrassed that I did that. :/ I liked the theme but the plot could've been more interesting..the ending was extremely rushed though. But, I did like the butterfly symbolism.

Did you find the ending very flawed? or am I the only person who found the flaw with them driving that car all the way to vermont when there was no way to get through the tunnels and the bridges were blown....

holly16![]() Aylesbury, United Kingdom | #10 I thought this film was rubbish. The book is probably very good but film makers usually don't take into account certain things I want to know like: - How the hell does he keep all those generators running? - If you caught a virus, just because you don't die does not give you super human powers to climb up buildings and rip through ceilings - You seriously would just get in the cupboard (people who have seen it will understand) And many other reasons but I don't want to spoil the film anymore for those wanting to go and see it, sorry! ![]()

maximillion![]() , United Kingdom | #13 didnt like it will smith was on form though

lexxel![]() adelaide, Australia | #14 The movie is brilliant, will smith gives a really good performance and is best one i have seen him in. I did watch I Robot but that wasn't as good to his perfomance here. The movie is intense at some parts and captivates you, you actually become involved with the charactors and its intense at times. well worth watching

henry_ireton![]() London, United Kingdom | #15 I found it enjoyable, it goes down hill once he meets that woman and the less said about the ending the better. It was almost as bad as War Of The Worlds. But I'll be buying it on DVD and switching off 5 before then. Hopefully they'll touch up the vampires for the DVD.
