Wait a second.. gothic pop? gothic rock? I'm really confused here. What are some examples of these goth sub-genres? I wanna clear this up in my own mind so I don't look like an idiot lol

As far as I know, Marlyn Manson was/is goth pop? Please correct me if Im wrong.

Um it's just that they have an odd Gothic feel to them. A sort of ancient feel behind the
music. Dunno how to explain it.

Marilyn Manson is more industrial Metal (Which is metal with electronic influences) but I
wouldn't disagree with someone labeling him gothic rock..Not so much pop.

Well sort of like Siouxsie Sioux and the Banashees, they were there from the beginning so i gues Evanescence is emo since it was an early one

I think Evanescence are awesome it doesnt matter if they are emo or goth or watever they make great music and amy lee is so pretty and has a great voice...wish i could sing like her

i dont know much about them except i like there music and i can dance along to it when im cooking dinner if the youngest one is playing his c.d.

I'm not a big fan of Evanescence but who cares if their emo or not, it doesn't change whether or not the make good music.
