Oh I'm not saying their emo as such, I'm just saying if you look at the way their lyrics are written, etc. that they really sparked off the new stuff coming around today. They where one of the original angsty bands. Don't care if he'd slap me for saying that, as long as he touched me

It's the same with evanescence, they don't have emo INFLUENCE, instead they really sorta paved the way for the resurfacing

Dam I hate emos and emo music and bands... So many posers, so few people with swords...

Yeah, and thats another thing, all these people listen to music and then let the music design their entire lives. Like goths dressing up all in black just because everyone else does it, really annoys me. I'm easily annoyed. GRRRR

No, there not emo, there just showing emotion, there is a big difference. Evanescence are a gothical band with great guitar and a commanding voice with there lead singer. I would never classify them as emo becasue that would show that i was nieve to how much other artists put there own emotions into there songs.

P.O.D are awesome. I got to see them live earlier this year.
And as for evanescence, they're nowhere near emo...sure their songs are somewhat emotional, but nothing else about their style/image is emo.
