Don't sweat it, as you're only 13 you may have the option to drop it when you choose your options for your GCSEs, if you really dislike it.

For now, I'd advise that you stick at it, maybe have a little chat with your teacher and make it known that you're struggling? It really helps, honestly. I used to be really bad at French and now I'm studying it for A level and I've even worked in France.

I'm the exact same, french is horribly hard. What I do is when i se something i try and remember the word in french, if someone speaks try and put the sentence together in french, slowly but surely it'll come. And please, learn from my mistakes, learn the bloody verbs!!
