background No-one can doubt the cars look incredible, and the handling - it's possibly the most realistic you'll get in a racing game, the difference between the "classic" ones with their rear wheel drive etc.
Compared though to say the Project Gotham ones - with their almost photorealistic backgrounds (You could almost be watching a race on tv, buildings are recognisable), Forza slips up. The backgrounds - stadiums and hills really - are very very basic, no detail at all.
My guess is that this is intentional, so that the processors focus on where it counts - the vehicles. Comparing to PG is also perhaps not advisable, as the cars in that don't handle so well, and are totally unrealistic if taking damage.

maybe. I've never had much problem with the scenery as the only thing I concentrate is the road and cars around me.
