I'm a minority in the states and recently i was a victim of racism. ever since then I've been observing the Caucasian Americans and i found out that in every faucet of American society, the rights guaranteed by the constitution are denied to the minorities by the whites. for example, the right to free speech. I've met people of various backgrounds who are minorities had at least once told by white people to shut up and keep their heads down; in fact i was told that too once. so my question is: does the rights guaranteed by the constitution only for white people or is it for everyone?

I always thought the Constitution was for all Americans, not just for white people.

Every Man, Woman and Child, no matter what race or color of the skin>>>>>Unless it can be proven in the Constitution that it only applies to Caucasian, which I've read and never came across. Google, American Constitutions and Amendments Act, and The Rights and Freedoms Acts.

I can't really be sure, like the examples you showed, some people don't think so, others do. I think it is, the Constitution is for America like I said, and if you're black, white, hispanic or whatever, I think the Constitution applies to everyone, in theory and in practice.

i believe in that, but all these stuff happening around me convince me otherwise. let's all hope that one day everyone will practice what's written in the constitution.

You are not alone in the prejudicial treatments of other's no matter what the Constitutions states, there is racism and prejudices everywhere and for almost anything in this day and age, smoking, being overweight, being too thin, being poor, being too rich, the list is endless and racisms and prejudices shall never go away quite the opposite it seems to be mutating at a very fast pace and affects every aspect of one's way of life or appearance. Sad but true, ironic that all those years ago when these issues were debated and found some common ground, that we have only moved backwards rather than forward in the ways we think, tolerance is but a word in the dictionary, and only used as a false shield by people when it is beneficial to their own ends.

no offense but I think you're full of sh*t. Whites have less rights than any other ethnic group in the U.S. b/c of all the racism and "civil rights" stuff. If a white person does any type of crime against person of minority ethnicity, then it's considered a hate crime, but not the other way around. Whites have to be perfectly politically correct when referencing an ethnic minority, while a black person can freely call us "crackers" and such. Spanking kids for white people is practically considered abuse now, but not for minorities.

I don't know how they do it in Cali but here in PA if your white your Fuc... you pertty much don't have any rights and god forbid you needed help such as food stamps or anything like that cause a "white" person can't even apply or so it seems.
All you ever here about is how we messed up ( white ) people and how bad we treat black or hispanics.
I think it's all bulls**t and we all either need to all get along or have another war and find out the who's who I guess.

wow that's a cynical post. but i agree with you. instead of evolving society is devolving. but are we any different from the evolutionary stage we were in before ma** communication? my point is: are we only more conscious of these happenings because we receive and process more information due to the internet and the television? perhaps these things have been widespread to this degree before ma** communication and most of us are ignorant of it. what do you think?

you do know that the white race has a long history of oppression and racism right? plus all the enforcement is done by a mostly white administration so complain to them; it is their inadequacies that are affecting your views.

The Average White Male has sadly now become the lowest minority in society, all other groups get all the privileges whereas they don't and cannot get ANY, therefore now being dead last in importance which is wrong and prejudicial at it's maximum.JMO

you're right. it is the white administration's fault. and it only proves my point that whites have less rights, not more.

Ok just to be clear, that was the history, another words it was'nt me or my family in the last 50 ish years.
So instead of these other races other then white who feel this way attacking and going after our administration they are killing white people in the streets just to name one thing.

I never beat up any one because of thier skin color or hit anyone with a whip etc etc..
But yet our family and children have to be affraid going to the store or school because of they way this black persons family might have been treated and he might go ape s**t in walmart because of something that happened to his family 70-80 years ago?
That's crazy.
If my kid says the N word he's suspended if a black person says Cracker ( teachers says )Ohh that's not nice.
How bout that for rights?
End of story for me,being white sucks all becuase of our past, when most people alive had nothing to do with it.

The right to free speech does not guarantee that no one will tell you to shut up. It's their right to tell you to shut up. It's also your right to ignore them and keep on talking.

The Bill of Rights prevents the government from forcing you to shut up.

The Bill of Rights prevents the federal government from infringing on the rights of any American, no matter their race or creed.
