I bought a new game today and when I try putting it in my DVD-Rom it just won't read the game. It's Sims Life Stories. I put it in another computer on the same network and that one will read it. Is there a way I can install the game on the computer which allows me to and then send the game to this computer which won't read the CD??

I figure there has to be a way because people put the games on P2P programs how do they do this.

I am not doing anything illegal I PURCHASED the game but it just won't work on this computer but it will on the other.

Any help is appreciated!

Your best option is to check the game manufacturers website for incompatibility problems with your machine (it may just not like your DVD-Rom for some reason) and see if they have any fixes. Download the latest drivers for everything in your machine also (something you should be doing regularly anyway). Then try contacting their support department. Do it by email though, since those phone numbers'll cost more than your average sex line, no doubt.

Since you purchased the game you bought a lisence for it. Hence it is still legal to download it using torrent, for example. It might take a little while but since you have a lisence it is legal.

does anythign happen, if it just doesn't load when you put the disk in it should say on the disk or info box about clicking on start, clicking on run then type whatever it says
