My husband always ties his own flies and has done for like 18 years!!
He has a passion for flyfishing, goes all over the country.
Good for you!, too many people r just buying these days and it takes quite a talent.

It is still a great way to relax regardless if you eat the fish or not. I go all the time and probably have only consumed one fish that I have caught.

Yeah but i dont like the whole idea of catching them now, i just think it's cruel. I wouldnt like it if someone hooked me by the throat and pulled me up, i am sure the fish dont like it either.

I remember one time everyone was fishing at this lake and i was catching all these crabs with my fishing rod but as soon as we reeled them in the slid back into the water because we didnt have the nets to catch them.

I do like being anywhere near water though, it is very calming, relaxing and therapeutic.

Yeah you are probably right being hooked must not feel too good, in regards to being next to the water.. it is a must too me. Absolutely love the water.

A perfect day in my world entails sailing through the Charleston Harbor in SC with a bourbon in my hand. Does not get much better than that
