I'm 16 and about 130 pounds. I'm not really fat, but I'm not skinny either. I'm only about 5'2 or 5'3. Any advice for losing weight and toning abs? Please let me know.

Sit ups and watch your calorie in take, stay away from carbs as much as possible.
if you don't wanna get into going to a gym or don't have access to a home gym I would say alot of walking would help alot, you would'nt belive how much walking 2-3 miles a day can help with weight loss.
Hope this helps.

hun u need carbs for energy, but kaneo76 is right dont overload on carbs unless u want to bodybuild

saunas are also very helpful as u can lose 800 calories in 30 minutes in a sauna, but keep your fluids topped up

good luck

You're 16, at least wait until you're body stops developing.

breast reduction surgery is pretty risky, i had on when i was 14, as it was causing me back problems, maybe talking to your local doctor about what options are best for you, if they are causing you health problems, or your not happy with them its worth a try
failing that you could take a look at some local cosmetic surgery clinics in your area and give them a call they might be able to help you

thanks.
i just think that because it's causing me to have extra trouble losing weight because it can be painful to exercise.

stay clear of sodas. I've found sodas are horrible to a diet. Focus on drinking a lot of water and juice to go with your diet.

eat properly, never miss brekfast and if youve nothing to exercise with, use two tins of the same food to use as weights, and sit ups,and use your stairs if you have any but whilst doing all this don't forget to have fun.

Hi browneyegirl, i'm new to the site but as a former p.t instructor in the army i give you this advice, fat burning is down to cardio vascular exersize and calories, half hour gentle exersize a day that leaves you out of breath n plenty water to fill you up.
to answer your question, no, not when they r done properly....

Go see doc and ask what the best exercise program would be for you, as I don't know your physical history at all, but a lot of water that's a must and it doesn't hurt, as for the physical walking was always my exercise of choice it works your cardio, lungs and toning all in one, but for more physical exercises go see doc first to get a clean bill of health and some advice on what you can and cannot do JMO Good Luck
