72/M/St. Catharines, Canada Join Date: Jan 2008 | All anti-malware, including Microsoft's Window Defender, is useless against the government's intrusions through the Wireless chip on a PC. Even if the Wireless Configuration is Disabled and Log On is set to Local. This has been my experience. Norton, Prevx, and others gave up trying as they could find no malware on any of my PCs. They told me to take my PCs to a repair shop or to call Microsoft. Microsoft was unable to help. The repair shop could find no problem with any of my 4 PCs. The problem only occurred at my home. I told these so-called 'experts' that I thought that the access must be through the Wireless. They said that was impossible if I hadn't set it up. I hadn't! I had a techie take out the Wireless chip and now the government hacking criminals, the Canadian Security Intelligence Service, can't get into that PC. I can't get out onto the Internet, either, with that PC. | | |
