I had the 'red ring of death' on Tuesday morning. Had my xbox for two years, and it does it the morning GTA comes out. I answered the door, got the game off of the post man. Ran upstairs opening the box as I went, turned the xbox on and got the three red lights. I honestly have the worst luck in the world! Bought a new one now though, so hopefully no more problems.
Back on topic, is your xbox set to background downloads? If it is, the fans etc will stay on until anything you are downloading has finished, and then switch itself off
Gutted I would hate my xbox to get the red ring of death search the internet and it tells you how to make sure it stops them happening and you can fix the xbox |
