The Ukraine v England world cup qualifier will not be shown on tv. The game will only be shown on the internet, you can watch the game but you have to pay for it.

I think its ridiculous, after all we pay tv licences, some of us also pay for sky and espn just so we can watch live soccer.

For me i think this is just greed

I pay for digital tv which includes ESPN, so isn't the match being shown ESPN?

At 6 PM (before kick off) I looked at the TV listings and no highlights of the game were being shown but lo and behold, I look now ( after match finishes) and highlights are to be shown on BBC1 in a few minutes. Did anyone pay a fiver to watch online in the belief that that was the only way to view the match? Disgusting

it's just said on the news that part of the deal was that the bbc weren't allowed to say they'd be broadcasting highlights. but lineker said in the intro something about 'last minute negotations'.
i wonder if the people who paid feel like they've been taken for mugs.
