The ugliest language has to be Welsh! Not only does it sound awful, you get covered in spit everytime somebody talks to you in welsh!

....and It is closely follwed by brummie!!!

Nah I think German is ok, it's quite similar to English so that's good. I really don't like any Asian or African language though, I think they all sound and look horrible.
I watched this documentary on TV about this isolated African tribe (who were cannibals) and they spoke with a series of clicks and frog like sounds. Weird!

The only African I know who use click sounds in their language are the Khoisan bushmen from South West Africa. They are the oldest inhabitants of South Africa and they aren't cannibals.

I'm much interested in languages so I have my little list of the ugliest ones.
One of the languages in that list is... American English.
Not the one spoken in New England but the southern brand. It's so much spoken through the nose than it sounds like Chinese imitating a duck.
English is such an extraordinary language, which mixes Germanic, French and Latin, and deserves its status as an international language.
But when I hear that twang on TV I feel sorry for English.
