Guns are great, and they do save lives. They're fun to shoot too.
I, as a pro-gun person, find it sad that they're illegal in some countries.
But, this is not the place to discuss this.
I think it's great that women are using tasers, if a crook comes up to them the can taser them. It's for self defense.

People get angry and they have a weapon, a gun, a knife, whatever, which thy took out with them for "defense". The first thing their mind jumps to is the weapon and suddenly they've crossed the line. In those few seconds where anger got the better of them, they've pulled the weapon and killed or injured someone. I'd rather people learned to defend themselves without weapons, which can work. My dad's neighbour hospitalised the same burglar twice when the guy broke into his house. No tasers, knives or guns required.

Well it IS a fairly normal reaction...anger when being attacked. If a man doens't want me to taser him, he shouldn't attack me.
I seriously do not understand why some people are so against personal protection.
