god i hate that,
before your time, but i couldn't get the image of Arnies' big face out of my mind reading the running man.

...which is about as far removed from your source material as you can get and still keep the title.

I dunno. Ever read Dreamcatcher? The book was brilliant. The movie was nothing like it.

Noooooooooooo!!! Always read the book first!

There's this part of me that think if you've never read the book, you shouldn't be allowed to watch the movie. Not so much with Twilight because I'm not interested in it, but with others I've felt that way. Hrm. Perhaps I'm a bit elitist.

revolutionary road was disappointing,
great acting but all together the story didn't add up like in the book.

Zorba the Greek was the closest I've seen a movie come to reflecting the contents of the book. Most movie adaptations are crappola!

You've just found another code to live by-- no viewing movies prior to reading books. It'll make for a happier life.

The closest I've seen is The Lord Of the Rings. Gollum looked just as I had imagined him as did the hobbits homes. Marvelous job.

Other than a trailer that was on tv a while ago the only knowledge I have of this thing is from TFS. People on tfs seem to be obsessed with it.

My favourite cinema isn't even showing the film...too many good looking films coming out atm (The Reader, Milk, Frost/Nixon etc).

I know what you mean,,, I also had watched the movie before reading the book itself... It's more like fun for me. Freaky yes!!,, cause you need to think of several annoying things but it was really fun..

But why did you say that it's good that you've never read harry Potter Book series?? JK Rowling is excellent. I tell you.
