First of all I love Apple, what do you mean everybody hates it? Second of all, they are not the same, not at all. Macs have overall better performance than PC's.

For instance, a regestry cleaning program was ran on a brand new PC...673 errors were found. The same test on a Mac and only 6 errors were found. Plus, there are countless viruses that can get to a PC, with a Mac you barely even need to have an antivirus program.

Also, is there anyone that likes the Windows OS look better than Mac OS?

i'm sick of Apple telling me how 'fun' and superior macs are!,
i've got nothing against them at all.
i consider them on the exact same level as other pcs.
which they are.
i just happen to prefere windows, asthetically.
and for playing games it's more straight forward since most developers design for it.

it seems to me to be a case of style over substance.
it's marketing the sleek design that looks so good in your home,
like buying art cause it matches your couch.

if you bought one, it's a fine machine i won't argue that but i think you could of gotten something of equal value...... for less money.
if you get me.

i prefere how windows looks

macs do have a huge advantage in regards viruses.
but not regards virus protection.if you get me.

it's simply a fact that because of their different operation systems a virus has to be designed specifically for the macs operating system, which in unfesable because the vast majority of people own windows based pcs.

other than that they're technically equal.
macs are great pcs.
but no better than the rest.

I want to switch from windows to a mac because in my opinion macs are more reliable. They're so much more expensive, though, but hey, you get what you pay for!

Yeah.
PC's are very unreliable in my opinion.

I've had this same mac for years and it's still a-okay.
it runs just as fast as any other computer and we've never had to have it
seriously repaired.
Other than that time we plugged it in during a storm

But it's a one button wonder, restart'll fix nearly anything

i gonna get a mac when i can aford one but as i'm still paying off the ex-wife it won't be any time soon.... anothere thing thats putting me off can't stand alaminum doen't go with white.
looks like i'm stuck with gates for a while....

That may be so, but getting Itunes to work on a pc is a whole other story. It took my dad almost 7 hours to install it properly onto my PC (though that might also have something to do with the fact that my Windows XP is rubbish. It's almost as if Steve designed the Ipod so everybody would go out and get a Mac as well as it's much easier to install Itunes on it than a Pc.

Saying that though i do like Ipods and Macs and the such

Uh.

iTunes is a super, super simple and quick install on Windows.

I don't know what kind of experiences you've had with it, but it literally takes about 2 minutes to install on a PC. You don't need to know anything at all to install it. It's one of the easiest installs I've ever done, and, believe me, I've done lots.
